Weight Watchers Points Plus ~ The New Program
Victoza Liraglutide in Non-Diabetics: I need a copy photocopy Laura, I would try to talk to your leader about the situation, sometimes they can be helpful. On that note, if you could spare me a points calculator, I would really appreciate it and put it to good use! To keep your coleslaw diabetes- friendly, choose vinegar-based dressings over high-fat creamy dressings and use a variety of non-starchy vegetables.

I would love to be part of the WW support group! I would love to join your group. I am an emotional eater so I have gained 20 of the 46 pounds I lost. I feel like such a failure which just adds to my depression which adds to my emotional eating!! I think this new program is just what I need to get back on track. Maybe I can be successful online in combination with this group! Please count me in! Support groups are so important!! I definitely need to be part of your support group.

My suggestion would be to have new points calculator as a permanent feature of your support blog. Hi, I would love to be apart of the WW blog you were mentioning. I have the final stretch of 12 — 15 lbs. I would love to be a part of this support group! I sent you an email as well but wanted to post something. So I could use the support especially since I made it to my goal weight and now have not been back there in a year!

Thanks for the great information! I have been throwing around the idea of joining WW again. Not sure if I should do online or meetings…. I love the idea of the Twitter Group…motivation, support, recipe sharing and healthy tips is the best way to achieve the healthy lifestyle.

I joined WW on-line a month ago and definitely need some inspiration!!! But I do need a push. This is my challenge. Found your website and loved it! I want to get back on the wagon. I need support for motivation!!!! WW is the best! Thanks for all this information. It was all really helpful, especially since at 9: Sadly, I am not excited about this new plan. My concerns are fruits being zero points and there being no consideration of calories in the points calculation. It would also be great to just have suggestions from other members on what is working for them.

My BF and I have been eating our way across two continents in the last year so we are ready! Thank you for your information…. This is getting me motivated again! Have been out of WW for awhile and really need to get it going again. I would love to be part of your group! Thanks for doing such a great job outlining the new program. I am a life member but always need help staying on track. Hi I just love this site..

Just found it this morning… I really like it better than the WW site… Been giong on it for recipes. I would love to be part of your support group. Sign me up for the support group! I would like to see input from other members on the restaurant points values. The list in etools has changed — a lot of items are no longer listed. Thanks for the simplified explanation!

Thank you for being so positive and encouraging. I lost 75 pounds on Weight Watchers 5 years ago and have gained back 30 even though I am a life member. With is new program, I am very excited to return to Weight Watchers in the next week. I am not waiting until January I am very interested in your support group, so sign me up!!

And also am thrilled to have found your website! Even as a long time WW member I still need support! Would love to join the support group — I have been on and off ww for the last several years — back on now and 20 lbs down so far.

I am so happy to get a preview of the new plan! My meeting is not until Saturday and I have not been able to get eTools yet, so this is a real boost for me. I am jumping on the bandwagon…sign me up for the support group…need all the support I can get! Wow, thanks so much for all the great info! Please sign me up for your group as well. Thanks for all you do! This is a great website you have! Thanks for all the motivation!

I am definitely interested in your WW support group! I would love to be a part of your group! Thanks for the good work you do, Danica! I have been doing not so well WW at home. I always do better by attending meetings but I get tired of the expense. I am so ready for a change because the old plan kept me running to low point processed foods because of my hectic lifestyle so I need a little shake up in my routine. I am going to find out about the new plan and give meetings another go.

I would also love to join this support group!! Good luck to everyone! Thanks, Danica, for the motivation. I would love to be part of the support group. Was maintaining my goal weight until some health issues got me about two years ago, and prednisone has become a daily part of my life.

So, I went back yesterday and am committed to losing this extra weight. Would love to be a part of your chat.

I would love to join the weight loss group. I have been attending meetings for just over a year and have lost 40 lbs. I am SO excited about the new plan and feel it is the new start I need to lose the last 20 lbs.

Thanks for putting this together! I have been a WW re-starter for years! Two years ago, I got very close to goal and quit going to meetings dumb!! I am very excited about the new plan, as I think it is forcing me to re-think what I am doing. I became too complacent with the Points system. You are a great motivator! Danica, please sign me up also. I do WW online and attend weekly meetings. I am looking forward to receiving the meeting materials on the new program. I may even purchase the kit as you did.

Thank you for all of the information. I need to lose 15 pds. I will do this again and hope that I can maintain this time around with the new point system. Just joined for the third time yesterday. Got 30 pounds to lose. I would very much like to be a part of this support group, too. Would like to be part of support group.

Been a WW member since , been a lifer since Still go to meetings every Sat morning although I did go last night to learn the new program.. Please count me in. Do I need a certain kind of phone? I am going to a meeting tomorrow to check out the new program. I would like to join the WW support group as well. I am excited about this new challenge with the new program.

It will mean the need to be consciously self-ware of what is required to make it work. I am up for the challenge. Please sign me up for the Support group. I have been toying around with joining WW and the only reason I have not done so is because of the mixed messages I have received regarding online and face to face meetings. Schedule wise online works best for me. I am in front of a computer at least 9 hours out of the day, so online is also convenient. I have been told that face to face meetings present greater accountability.

Keeping that in mind, I have not done anything. I would love to join and online WW Support Group. Was doing WW on-line, but with the new program decided to hit the weekly meetings again. Worth it to hear all the info and get the materials. Would like to be a part of your WW support group. Now struggling with keeping it off.

The meetings really do work and I am looking forward to hearing more about the plus program. Would love to get my hands one of the new calculators and program to read up on it. Can you access this program off line anywhere? I would also like to join the WW support group, I think it would be very helpful! Thanks for taking the time and expaining the new plan for us.

I would love to be included in the support group. Looking forward to our meeting tonight. Heard that is going to be easier to follow. My leader said she lost 5 plus lbs the first 2 wks. Hope I can do it too. I would like to join the support group also. So the weeks to come will be key in proving me to be a skeptic… I pray to god that I am so so wrong. How about pictures of food, much like the egg on toast and apple picture.. Has anyone seen the Points value for Vitatop Muffin Tops?

They are one of my staples and my meeting is not until later this week. And how about a shout out to Starbucks with a Grande Skinny Latte weighing in as one of the free power foods — Way to Go!! I dropped out of WW three weeks ago as I was doing so badly.

MY own problem not WWs. Felt like I was wasting my money. A bit embarrassed at weighing in. I joined 40 years ago and did so well and became a Lifetime Member. Even worked for them as a clerk. I am so ashamed of myself for not having better control over what I stuff in my mouth. Hopefully this new programme may do the job. I did my best under the original programme but then again I was 40 years younger. What I would love to see on weight watchers would be simpler recipes and cooking just for two as well as families.

Sandra in Ca — Thanks — I scrolle dup and saw that Viatatops chocoloate also my favorite went to 3 points — but like you said, wih free fruits and veggies, who cares! If you like oatmeal, you may want to try this: Follow the Quaker Oatmeal box directions for serving quantity. Start with 2 sticks of whole cinnamon in the water. Add 1 cup of Steel Cut oats great fiber and 3 cups of regular not instant oatmeal. While that is bubbling away, add a splash of vanilla extract to taste.

Keep stirring every few minutes and while that is happening cut up an apple or two remove the skin , lay in a glass pie dish and add ground cinnamon and a few shakes of Butter Buds or Molly McButter this is real butter just dehydrated to the top.

Add a little water and microwae on high for about 3. When the oatmeal is done, add the apples and stir well. The cinnamon will have thickened just a little and will over the next few days give even more flavor the oatmeal. You can add a little more ground cinnanmon to taste.

After the oatmeal cools, you can store in the fridge — it will last for about 1 week you will have just about enough for 1 cup a day. This is really good and you can take it to work in a plastic container — I travel with this even when visiting relatives so that I can have at least a decent breakfast.

I admit, as a Lifetime Member who has recently gotten back on the wagon I fell off I was more than a little freaked out about the change! But I will perservere!

Oh, and I would love to be part of the support group! I now do WW on-line, and miss the support of the meetings! I really enjoyed your take on the new program. I am a lifetime member and need support! I would really like to join your group.

Thanks for all the information about the new program. I am excited and looking forward to a good change. I need to lose about 80 pounds so I will need all the encouragement I can get. Would love to join your support group. I went to the meeting today and got the new material. It is going to take some getting used to. Please sign me up for group too. I made lifetime in and thought I could do it myself. Went back in January of I love the new program for some of the same reason others are nervous about it.

It makes me feel like a newbie again and re-motivates me. All the past programs have worked if you follow them, but now it seems that new program is much more healthy oriented but still permits you to make your own choices.

Would love to join the support group, need alittle added motivation to get into this new program. I am a lifetime member since ; had a few set backs when I fell and broke my ankle 3 years ago. I need to get back on track and get back to excercising as best I can! The good thing is I am sill under my goal. The other good thing is that when I weigh in on Sat. I will have lost weight. I usually weigh in before eating, in the lightest clothes possible.

The program is about a new mindset. Eating higher point quality foods to get up to 29 points. Today I came up short by 6 points and I had no room or desire for any more food.

Hopefully this is a good thing! Will keep you posted. I havce been on and off the program for many years. This new program might be just what I need to stay on track. Please add me to your group when it does start! Day 2 on the new program and I am completely hooked! I lost about on the former program and have kept it off for 2 years and still track everything I eat online. I needed a boost and this is exactly it! I have been trying to lose another 10 , but have been struggling with that.

I am anxious to see how all the fruit is going to impact me one of the first things I did was buy grapes and bananas!! I have 29 pts each day and today at 9 pm, I still have 11 remaining. Would love to be part of your group!

Now is the time!!! Oh, and I love your website! I would loooooove to join the support group!! Change is always hard however I really like the new program.

Went to the meeting today that talked about the new point system. I love the fact that fruit is now 0 points. After the meeting I went to the store and stocked up on fruits and veggies. Please include me in your support group when its up and running. Please let me know about the details when you have the finalized. I am excited about WW again. I would love to participate in the support group.

Went to the new points plus roll out this am and I think this the best of them all. While many point values have increased Progresso 0 pt soup is now 1 there are many that have decreased as well turkey breast from 1 to 0. This new program has renewed my enthusiasm which is so important especially during the holidays. Please add me to your e-mail list. Would love to meet new buddies struggling with the same issues. Thank you Danica, for your enthusiasm and insights. With HBP, high cholesterol and triglycerides and 50 extra pounds, my doctor has been very patient with me….

I am about to rejoin WW to finally lose those pesky last 25 pounds I have been trying to shed for years now…. Happy to have found your web site. A support group is a great idea.

Very excited about getting on this new WW plan, it has renewed my faith in WW. I find it much more complicated than the old point plan. I guess because I now need a calculator to figure out points when I was able to do it in my head. On points plus I have gone over the old points number a point or 2 each day but stayed within my points plus number. I know that WW has tried to incorporate the newest nutritional information into this new program but they also have a profit motive in getting new and older members into the meetings and also in selling new materials and kits.

Having done the new program for the last 3 days I have to tell you it is almost essential that you purchase the new points calculator and perhaps the new complete food companion. Most of the foods I eat just are not covered in the free materials. I guess we will see if in the long run it works. I have to wonder, after 3 days of doing it the new way, if in a year or 2 we will be back to doing it the old way in some renamed new plan.

So excited about the new program. My first meeting is today! Please sign me up for the online support group — that sounds great!

Where do you buy the new kit for that price? I have looked online and they are like dollars. I found your site by searching for the new WW info, excellent review. I just recieved my new package on yesterday and it is soooo exciting.

Way to go WW buddies! I have done WW in the past, but all the enthusiasm about the new program has convinced me to try it again!

Hello Danica, I appreciate your comments and enthusiasm regarding the new WW plan. Last evening I attended my regular meeting and I must admit it was the most quiet our group has ever been, just trying to listen and grasp the new concepts as our leader discussed them.

I just typed in WW new plan in my search and stumbled onto your webpage and it is wonderful. Explained so much more and the comments from friends has helped a great deal. I reached my goal and will work hard to maintain it for life!

But I am confused about how I can get my daily points target. On the old plan, it was I am not into going to back to a meeting right now and I do not subscribe to etools I am a Lifetime Member and the third option is to use my points calculator to calculate the daily points target seems to be the best bet for me, but how can I figure out my daily points target using my points calculator???

Thanks for this post! I love the information you posted and looking forward to the new program! I have a points calculator from the most recent before this program change will i need to purchase a new one or is it the same one? Love to join , lifetime WW member.. But like even the idea of more than 18 per day and fresh fruit 0 Yeah!!! I heard that the old points calculator is obsolete now and you need to buy a new one!

I guess to be successful, one needs to make an investment! Looks like the kit with free calculator may be the way to go! Glad some people are interested in the new program. On the plus side, I found a formula online evidently the points plus system has been in place in Europe for a few years under a different name:. Yesterday, I was able to call WW number to ask a Q about the new electronic calculators.

Is anyone else having similar problems? Will make the transition easier to manage with an entire group of WWs along side!

The new points system sounds very exciting — free fruit! I bought the books and all that good stuff. It didnt break me but it was excpensive. So now if I want new books I have to pay for them. I do have an i phone so I have the app. I am almost a lifetime member. Im not sure if I like the new plan. I just found your blog and I love it!!! I think it totally worth 30 something but after getting it home 55 seemed outrageous for it. But I am loving the new program, I ate my normal breakfast of oatmeal and yogurt this morning, and while I usually ad a fruit to it.

This morning tough I added strawberries, raspberries and a banana!! Loving the zero point fruit!! I would like to join the support group. I was confused by the new program at first, but I have the hang of it now, I hope. I would love to be a part of the support group. This would hopefully prevent that. And these are the only two ways that I can calculate points now because there is no free slider.

I would be fine with the new program if there was a slider or free app. Laura, I would try to talk to your leader about the situation, sometimes they can be helpful. Also, once the big excitement of the new program is over, I wouldnt be surprised if they started having free ways to figure out points- and we all know a pirated version will be online very soon. Not that I support trademark infrigement! Every couple years this happens. After I lost my weight on winning points? Thank you so much for all this info!

I entered in the nutrition info for a Special K Protein Meal bar and the new points value is 5 was 3 — I entered in the same nutrition info but lowered the protein and the points actually went down — I thought protein would lower points, not increase them. Went to a WW Mtg. Very excited about the new PointsPlus Plan. Please sign me up for your WW Support Group. You have such a nice your site here. I love the idea of your blog and support group!

Also being an on the go mom, it made it very difficult to stay on the program. I would also love to see ideas shared. As a single parent I can no longer afford to attend meetings…that 39 a month is a huge expense for me…one that can go to utilies, groceries, etc. I could use a support group outside of weight watchers where I can get the support and encouragement that I need to stay on track.

I would also like to join your support group. Any help available to stay on the wagon would be greatly appreciated. Please sign me up! One more thing-I would like a section where people attending meeting might give a summary of what the weekly meeting was about.. This would be a lot of fun for those of us who cannot attend meetings.

I am 71 joined ww in , lost 72 lbs, became a receptionist, then a leader for 6 years. Became ill and could not exercise for a long period, gained 40 lbs and am back.

It is much harder, but I am determined to lose 28 lbs which would put me at my goal weight. Just discovered your site. I am getting motivated again about losing the weight. Would love to be part of the support group!!! Thank you for all your hard work on this site. I would like to be part of the WW support group. Been a lifetime on and off for years. A new program will be difficult to learn — but maybe motivational at the same time?

Going to meeting tonite. Thanx for sharing that prices will go UP in January. Am a lifetime member, but 10 pounds from my goal weight. Please add me to your group for motivation to get to goal and stay there! What a great explanation of the new program. I am a new WW user and was just getting the hang of it when they changed the guidelines. I would love to be included in your group. Danica thank you for such a complete run down of the new program! It sounds like some awesome changes were made!

Thanks for the info Danica! Your info and excitement about the new program sent me running back to WW to join in!! Please add me to the WW Support Group!!! Any advice or tips for new members would be fabulous!! Add me to the group! I would love to join the support group…one question I have is where did you get that deluxe kit?

On Weight Watchers site it is I am also very interested and want to be included please. Total frustration for me! I want to join in Jan, and want to prepare for success! Any and all help appreciated—I have a large amount to lose and plan on succeeding.

I did it once before and WILL do it again…. I am really excited about the new program. And I love being able to grab an apple or some grapes for a snack. Since I am doing the program on-line I would love to become a part of this support group. I am definitely looking for a positive, upbeat experience and I believe this is the place to find it!

I started Wednesday with the new program — I would love to be included in the support group! Would love to join the group. I have anxiety about switching over!

I feel overwhelmed that I need to recalculate everything. I dont know what to look for while shopping. I was in a rut for a while and i am loving points plus. What is has done is get me re-focused. I would suggest that everyone get the points calculator.

I use e-tools and my i-pod but have found so often this week whenn looking for point values I had to either get my i-pod or go on the computer. Would love to see recipes on the group site especially since I am not a cook,. Thank you for sharing this info! Wow…what an amazing group of people…. I can tell this will be my place to go and learn and shar.

I found this fantastic website off of a Yahoo news story when they quoted Danica. I have been maintaining lifetime goal for two years, and still attend weekly meetings. I do not subscribe to e-tools, use a 3 month written tracker, and have not had to pay since i am staying at goal. The materials were free and complete. The minimum daily is 29 for everyone — and if you are lifetime and maintaining — add 6 — to a daily target of See if that helps maintain — adjust accordingly.

The weekly allowance points are now 49 for everybody. Free fruit is wonderful! I was resistant to change also — but one can always find fault from a resistant point of view — I decided to accept the change as a booster to the mediocre set in, roll up my sleeves.

Fits my lifestyle better than any in the past. If you want to succeed, you have to be willing to ask yourself what you are willing to do — the resistance can become just another excuse to delay that success.

I was on maintance for 9 years and lost 65 pnds on the old point plan and kept my weight off till I got layed off over a year ago there went my routiine and then starting putting weight back on. Love going to the meetings and seeing the other members suggestions. I also would like to be part of the suport group love your site. I just started Weight Watchers yesterday and feel a little overwhelmed. I was browsing for information online and came across your site. It is so wonderful!!

If possible, I would like to be part of your WW support site as well. Thank you for your terrific blog!! Is there something we have to do other than comment here, to do so? I would love to participate. I recently became a life time member, and this would be the spark to keep me going. Add me to your group please. I did ww on line for a year and lost 20lbs. Went off and gained it all back plus, been doing a medically weightloss program for the past 7 weeks and have lost 24 lbs, but it is way expensive, and with the new point system, I am excited, because I have low blood sugar and had problems staying on point before.

I would like to join the support group too! I did WW in the past and loved it. Yikes pregnancy sure does a number on your body! I lost 20 pounds ending 1 year ago on Weight Watchers. Have recently last 5 months put 10 pounds back on. I actually never reached goal the first time, but was reasonably happy where I was. Would love to have the extra support of your group — I found it so helpful when people in my old WW meeting talked about things that helped them, recipes, snack ideas, etc.

I am rejoining this week. Do you know when the app for the droid is coming out that you spoke about. Scan the barcode and get the points value? Also do you know what it is going to be called. Your website is great, I am going to start weight watchers soon! I have had much success with the Weight Watchers program and hope to lose even a little more with the new plan.

I would welcome the chance to be a part of your support group. I hope to hear from you soon! Calling Weight Watchers today to get their pre-paid pass that way, its way cheaper then getting it at a meeting. My mom joined and she said most people in her class had big weight lose numbers on the new points plus. I would like to be a part of your new group. I am slightly anxiety-ridden with the new points plus progam and I need support!

Look forward to being a part of this new community…. I just joined Weight Watcher for the 4th time this past Friday. The leader was great! For the first time I actually feel like I can do this and I am very excited. I have 80lbs to lose, I am really looking forward to new online support group. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I love your enthusiastic presentation and overview. I just ordered my kit today and I am so glad I did because there were only two left and they have no idea when a new shipment will arrive.

All the motivation I can get and sharing recipes and ideas is so fun and makes the process so much easier. I started the new program last week and lost 4lbs.

Points Plus is exactly the same. The GI book offers details on how everything is calculated and there are very good tips. I still believe in tracking to stay focused. The new program will definitely work! I look forward to being a member of this support group. After eating points a day, really had trouble even coming close to recommended daily target of 35 and only used 2 of my WAP. Thus, my scale is showing a loss; hope that means as i adjust my eating, more points will mean maintenance.

Find i eat mostly power foods, a lot of fruit — which i guess was using my points up prior. Never in my life did i think i would have to eat more to NOT lose.

It works when you work it! Only took a lifetime of errors to get here — it IS possible, so hang in there! You, too, can do it. It is incredibly simple. It does not use four variables. It does not find plus points. But what it does find is virtually equivalent to plus points. Do you think anyone might be interested? I have lost 60 lbs with the old program and am looking forward to the new program. Our WW at work will resume with the new program the 2nd week in Jan.

Please add me to the mailing list. Would love to join the support group! Thanks for this site. I am diabetic and very concerned about the effect that free fruits will have on my daily glucose levels and my A1C three-month levels. I have been quite effective at managing my daily levels through minimizing sugary fruits such as grapes, melons and pineapples. I checked the site for a discussion of diabetes and the new program to no avail.

I am thinking that I can follow this program if I maintain my current consumption rules for fresh fruit. Common sense tells me that I will need to modify the program to meet my needs; however, will too much modification mean that I am not really following this program?

Can other diabetics tell me their experience? Please add me to your mailing list. I am very interested in the support group. I have been struggling with my weight for the past several years. I lost 35 pounds in but have gained it back.

I have been attending a Weight Watchers meeting and leave feeling motivated but by the second day I have lost motivation, with sweets being the main problem. Very excited about the new program. I am a lifetime member and I just signed up again today for etools. Looking forward to learning about the new program. Are there WW spies who are watching everything you eat??? I kind of did the old way but did not really stick to it but now i am ready to stick to the new program.

I have wanted to eat less carbs but did not want to do Atkins or the other popular low carb or no carb diets. So I hope you will let me join your group i would appreciate it very much.. I had the best luck with Core in the past — but not enough people did it and it was hard to stay motivated. I have so many questions still have not been to a meeting yet about the changes in points.

I wonder if there is a site with the new points listed for most foods? I still love a piece of pizza occasionally and a glass of wine, so now with the extra points I think it will fit in nicely. When I did the old point system I never lost more than 2 pounds in a week, however, when I started doing Core — I lost 4.

I hope this will be the same. Good luck to everyone. I reached my weight watcher goal in There have been many changes to the program making it not very restrictive. The choices allowed were poison to me. Over the years I have gained weight and am now at my highest point. This is the week that I will again join ww and am looking forward to following the comments your readers submit. Boy, you have devoted alot of time to this site.

Thanks for the effort. I never saw the estimated points per meal chart. Can someone update me on the pnts per weight? I am about scale needs batteries and i would like to know how many pnts im allowed with this new system. Nvm I just read where you arent allowed to combine the old and new program.

I am not sure about the effectiveness of the new plan. In the first week of the new plan I lost 1 lb. In my case I think the problem is the 0 point fruit without any advice or limitation about the maximum quantity one can eat per day. I ate a lot of fruit. In the past plan it sum up about points e. Now it is all together zero points. I lost 52 lb. It was an excellent online tool for weight control and loosing it will be a big gap for me to diet. Could I please join your support group?

Updates when posted, etc? I also rejoined WW and not sure how long I can keep going to the meetings, for financial reasons, so hoping I can stay accountable this way! Your blog is fantastic and you are inspirational!

Include me in the support group too. Looking forward to getting back into the WW groove. I would love to be part of your WW. Glad I found your website…. Would like to be part of your support group. Seems there is alot of interest in a support group.

Your partner in health, Cindy. I have been trying to lose weight on my own—with no success—I think joining your group is just what I need! Ok I just decided to start the program tomorrow. Its seems to be the most nutritionally sound so I am really looking forward to it. I am going to be doing everything online as there is not a group meeting within 30 minutes of my house so it would just be easier for me. I will need all the support I can get.

Can I please be a part of your support group? I am feeling so sad I quit drinking and smoking many years ago then the weight gain. Lately I have been experiencing sweats and can get no relief. I need this to work!! Thank you for this information you shared. I rejoined WW last week and am ready to get back on program this New Year. I lost 40lbs, made lifetime and kept it off for 2 years. I fell off the wagon this last year and have gained 13 lbs. Thanks for all the info on the new points plus program!!

Now How do I order the new deluxe kit? Is this a different app you refer to? I did WW 9 years ago and lost 30 pounds. I stopped doing it because I thought that I could continue to lose on my own. I need the accountablity. In the pic above from the kit there are also 10 levels of allowed points. I have 1 hubby and 4 kids ages yrs. I do not, but want to help them. Is it feasible for me to attend the meetings since my schedule allows it and I am the cook in the family , and implement this program for my whole family?

I like the healthier concept for , and think that learning proper portions is also a plus even for my 8 yr. Do you think it would work?

Love seeing Jennifer Hudson in the new commercials. I always try new weight loss methods…but seem to come back to WW every January. Would love to be part of your support group — looking forward to reading your blog on a daily basis — thanks! So we are gonna try to do it again almost 30 years later. Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Especially allowed vegetables, fruits, seasoning.

I don't see the posted entire program. If memory serves, additional floaters were allotted according to exercise Does anyone recall that? Kelly, I would really like to get a copy of the entire program Thant would be great as I have been looking everywhere for it.

Please let me know. Thanks My email is storandt centurylink. I would to have a copy of this since everyone rates it so highly.

Kelly, I did the original program. Swore I still had the materials, but I don't. Could you please e mail the old WW program to me. I tried the new points program and have gained weight. Thank you very muchJanette. Did you ever post the entire program exchanges? I did very well with WW, but haven't done well with any of the newer WW programs 's - on. I would think I'm not the only one. So far I've lost 4 lbs.. I'm also trying to be more aware of my cravings, and look at my college picture as motivation it was my lowest weight of my adult life.

Hello Kelly, I was hoping beyond hope that you might have the Weight Watchers original diet booklet from the 80's: Does anyone in the world have this booklet? My cherished one is MIA!! Thankyou and name your price! I have only found a couple in boxes but if you have all I would love to have them. Would you please send me the old WW program. I have tried the new points plan. I have gained weight. I would really appreciate your help. I know this is an old post. Hello everyone, could someone please send me the old quick start weight watchers program?

I recently bought on eBay the original WW book, as well as the revised plan WW came out with in I'm not sure which one I'm going to attempt. To tell the truth, what's holding me back is the incredible amount of fish you're supposed to eat each week! Any suggestions on that? Does anyone know how important it is that I stick to that part of it?

Seems to me that I could substitute some of that fish with lean meat, don't you think? I'm totally new to WW but from what I've read, those early plans were definitely easier to follow and quicker weight loss.

Plus, I like the clarity and checking off little boxes throughout the day: But what about all that fish?? Hey Elizabeth I've got to say I'm with you there! I have always hated fish, like every type of fish including shrimp and lobster. I've started trying to eat fish for weight loss and also because it's just supposed to be so good for you. Mostly I have been just trying to suck it up and eat fish like I eat brussel sprouts, just suck it up and hurry through. I have found two ways of eating seafood that are acceptable though.

I swear it makes almost any fish at least edible. As to switching out to other lean meats, it may work but I would try cilantro salmon first. If you look at past posts in the fitness tab on this website they talk about chelation and how cilantro helps your body detox. Your answer wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear yes, you do have to eat all that fish but at least you made me laugh as I read your reply: Oddly enough, brussel sprouts are the only vegetable that I absolutely can't stand and will not eat.

Funny that you brought that up. I copied the Cilantro Salmon recipe down and plan to try it soon. And yes, I've become aware in the past couple of years of the differences between wild-caught and farm-raised fish and try to always buy wild only. Oh well, I guess I have to suck it up and eat fish, dang it. I found that tuna with salad fixings made a terrific lunch and an easy way to fill the weekly fish quotas.

Is there any way I could get from you a copy of the revised ww plan? Either you could scan it to me, or make a copy and I could paper your the materials and postage. It was called the Original Plan when I ran across it. However, I remember sort of - I was really young and just listening to old people talking hearing about some plan that required you to eat about a gazillion bananas.

If you want one where you eat gazillion bananas that is very effective at helping you lose weight - check out the Satan Diet and the Cupcake Time Diet on this website.

I'm sorry, but I don't. I know a lot of people felt that program was superior to the Points Plus but I never did see the old points system in action. Good luck to you! On this blog opening page, go to the right hand column and scroll down to Archives.

Pick the April and hit it. The original points description shows on that page if you scroll down to it. Points allowed were determined for each person as they chose the rate and number for their goal. But in fact it almost always turned out to be points unless you were very obese then it went up to points per day. Also it differed for men and youth. Also, you could earn 2 points or more per day depending on how much exercise you got over the basic 20 mins required per day. The food exchanges plan was the very bestest!

I joined WW in , lost weight, kept it off and became a WW leader. I sure wish I had all my program booklets. I went back to WW in ish and all they talked about was how many chocolate kisses they could eat for all their daily points.

Does anyone have the extra booklets that spoke to out to eat??? Thanks for your comment. The chocolate kisses thing is why I really prefer the Original plan over the Points Plan. I tried both and I am really just too irresponsible to be told I can eat my points in cake and candy. That just really didn't work for me. I know the exchange plan is based on a diabetic diet. If that was your favorite and you can't find it, you may want to google diabetic exchanges and use that to guide you.

I used the older plans as well for weight watchers and became a life time member in the 's. The point plans did not interest me and I still dig out my exchanges when I need to make a correction to return to my goal weight. Remember; as we age our goal weight has to be adjusted as well, check with your doctor or dietitian. Tops plan still offers the exchange system identical to the old WW ones.

Richard Simmons old Deal a Meal also was an exchange plan mostly the same. On the tops web site and at their meetings you can find the old WW type journal sheets for keeping track of your exchanges and substitutions allowed as optional calories and personal choice fruits or milk or bread or protein extras.

Richard simmons web site also has a journal for keeping track of exchanges. He still uses the exchange basics only he began to close windows on food groups in a handy hand held counter.

WW allowed various levels which changed according to how fast or slow you wanted to loose. Levels were different too for men and youth. And yes you could always substitute for the many fish meals if you could not stand fish, but you had to have less volume of the alternate protein in order to keep the calories the same.

Exchange plans are really a fancy way to keep track of calories to make it easier to plan and keep to a set caloric total for your age, height and goal. Originally exercise was optional and now as WW includes more calories under their point systems exercise is required to loose at the same rate as of old. PS I am still pretty healthy for an old gal too and WW old system works. Back when i did this originally i hated fish.. Glad you are a fellow fish hater!

The tuna idea is a great way to get the benefit of fish without having to actually eat fish. You should check out our Salmon Patty recipe on this site - it is another painless way to get fish if you couple it with the Corn Fritters!

Your weight loss on this plan "back in the day" was fabulous! And I do think this diet actually gets us thinking about how to eat healthy so we can keep the weight off. Let me know if your 10 lbs slide off as easily this time! To my knowledge, there was never a WW plan called the original plan; if there was it was from the mids and it definitely did not contain "floater" exchanges and optional calories: Just like there have been multiple versions of the points plans, there were multiple versions of the exchange plans.

I do not recall a plan that ever allowed that much protein PLUS 7 floaters and optional calories. I do not have time right now to drag out all my old materials from the 70s and 80s, but will try to do so later if you have specific questions or are otherwise interested. I remember the plan that had the 7 floaters and optional calories. I think it might have been called Quick Start. I wish I had all my original materials from back then! I agree that it was a better plan for teaching the concepts of healthy eating and portion control.

We firmly believe that everyone is different and that is why we try to cover a variety of diet options that have worked for someone we know no rumors of success; only true success. So glad you found what you needed! Does anyone if mustard is allowed I also lost lbs 25 yrs ago and kept it off until this year said 25 combo of menopause n quitting smoking I have gained on the new WW program to much fruit or something.

I want to go back to the old program from the 80's. Can you help me please. I loved the old revised original WW plan of I lost 50 lbs. Have never done well on points.. This is a fabulous idea, Phyllis! Anyone who would like to participate in an online support group - drop us an email at forwardmotion outlook.

Talk to you soon!! If anyone has the program from could they send it me please bendell. I too lost a lot of wt. Now i once again need to shed wt.

Do you have a copy of the ww plan from the 80,s? Esther, go online to Amazon or any book ordering web site and search for the older versions of the Weight Watchers Program books.

Some are used, ebay may have them too. In this they give the plan summary, some exchange lists and include recipes that all work with the plan.

Be sure to order a book prior to their points system, so to not include those newer analysis on the recipes and plan. I'm sorry, We don't have any other WW plans other than the 2 posted on this website. Good luck in both your search and your future weight loss! Starting on the old plan Monday and looking forward to losing weight. Patty, where did you find the information? Was it the old WW program from the 80's. The new point program is not for me I have gained weight.

I am starting my Old Weight Watchers. I lost 77lbs once. It only took me about 5 months to do it. I was amazed at how fast I lost the weight.

I walked 3 to 5 miles 6 days a week. I worked out everyday. And I didnt eat after 7: I was really committed. I gained the weight back because of cortisone and steroid injections due to back surgery. I do know that it works. I love the old way much better. I got confused with the new system. Too much to do. I never had to change anything that I ate. Brenda, how did you get the old WW program? I've been looking for it for quite a while. I do not like the new point system. How many calorie bread do you eat?

What kind of cereal do you eat? Can you have oikos vanilla greek yogurt? I have gained weight on the new points program.

So glad to find this. I did WW in and was so surprised at how easy it was. I did not like vegies I lost 15 lbs on it. The new plans have never worked as well. As others here have said, it seems like people are trying to figure out ways to keep eating junk. This planned helped me become a healthier eater. I need to take off again.

I think I will give this a try. From what remember the original plan allowed ounces of meat for lunch and ounces for dinner. Points system was too complex I became too obsessed with the points and exchanges.

Never had a lot of success with it. Last year when I moved I had aloof weight to lose. I started The original plan again and of this year and have lost 63 pounds. Kelly you stated you were going to post the Exchange Program but I dont see it???? I would really like it if you posted it please.

Thank you for this! Back in the s my parents and my aunt went on the original plan and lost so much weight among them that it added up to an entire other person, and they all kept it off.

In fact my aunt, now 98, is still keeping it off, even though she is the best cook in Texas. Naturally I had great hopes for WW, but the points system never worked for me. I can't even remember how many times I started WW with high hopes and failed after initially losing a few pounds and finding that I was always hungry--probably because I was using my points for the wrong foods. It didn't help that they were always trying to sell me tasty carb-laden 2-point treats and giving me free samples.

The new WW gives me more freedom than this compulsive over-eater can handle. I absolutely cannot eat sweets and lose, and I don't know anybody who can.

But this approach give me some real hope. It's too bad WW didn't stay with it. Does anyone have a copy of the tracker from the Freedom Plan? Or even a homemade version? I like having the little boxes to check off for each exchange. Liz, the older versions of Weight Watchers many plans had lots of journals with the check off boxes for the exchanges count for each day.

If you go on Richard Simmons web site you can get a similar print out of an exchange system journal sheet and it has boxes too. I just take the old WW plans system tracker with box check off sheet and copy many more days and sheets for me to keep track from my old Weight Watchers material.

Does anyone use the TurnAround plan from several seasons back? That worked great for me, but I don't have it and want to go back to that.

Every year weight watchers seems to revise their plan. Wonder if they plan to do that. Shirley, yes weight watchers changed or modified plans every year and likely still does. It is meant to keep up with science as new info becomes available from the weight loss studies.

It also helps then sign up new members to keep recent and members wanting the latest plans. I think the turnaround was an early points system I recall.

You can go online to eBay and amazon and search for people selling their old material. There are plenty of older packages there. I love this diet. I actually lost weight on it. Weightwatchers wouldn't give it to me. Lynn hi and welcome. You can get all or most info on the Weight Watchers older version diet from the book: It comes in hardcover and three ring binder form. It can be ordered used, from Ebay or Amazon or online book site or a book store maybe could get you one used. It was published in by Macmillan Inc and was written by Weight Watchers international.

It has a description of the plan, menus, and some exchanges. They published it prior to the introduction of their points plans so it has the older information.

You will have to draw your own food journal sheets and copy them, to check off squares if you want to track exchanges, though one similar is on TOPS websites and Richard Simmons web sites. Be sure to get the exact title, and year as they wrote others that look similar. Tops still uses a similar plan as one of its options.

Any chance of getting a copy of the exchange program posted by Kelly on 8th August We have been looking for you. The bad news is we had no luck in locating that BUT we did take everything we learned while looking for and wrote a few articles just for you! The exchange lists are located here: Let us know if it helps!

I too lost a lot of weight in after first baby on the Original non-points WW version and have been searching for the old red booklet and the weekly food diary. Does anyone please have the booklet scanned and the food diary? It was the only diet that has ever worked for me. You might want to check ebay and see if anyone has a copy for sale. Hi, I have been looking forever to find the old Weight Watchers plan to no avail.

I came upon your site and I see the menu at the beginning, but the one I did I had 19 points a day and when I typed in the food it told me how many points. Do you have a list of foods with points? Hi Donna, Here is a food-to-points converter that we ran across http: Where you had 19 points available, I'm betting you were not using the PointsPlus system.

This post is about an older WW system where you just had to eat different foods. If you scroll to the top of this page, you will see a box that contains reviews of a few different diets. We hope this helps! I have wanted to start the old WW diet for years, as it is the only diet that worked for me. I enjoy food that is fresh, not from a box. The old plan was very easy to follow. I do not have any of the instruction books only the Daily Tracker sheets.

Thank you for this site. If you are able to email me one, I'd be very grateful! There is a food tracker sheet here: If not, say the word and we'll scout out another for you! Is there anyway I could get a copy of the things you have found. I suffered a stroke due to an injury and not able to exercise like I was able to before.

This program worked wonderful for me to loose my weight before and had hit my goal. Now I feel this is the only thing I can count on to help me in this time. Have a broken hip joint and it is making me fall farther behind. Please help if you can. Hi fellow weight watchers! I was so glad to find this site and spent the last week working SO hard at trying to follow the old program which worked great so many decades ago. Now it's the weekend and I completely blew it, so of course, I'm so disappointed in myself.

Here's hoping I can get back on track tomorrow! You can get back on track - we're sure of it. Be proud of your self for starting on the road to your success. All roads have a bump or two - no worries. Here's hoping this week is a good one for you! Thank you so much for providing the planner and menu outline. I used it successfully when I was in high school and now my high school aged son and I will be using it together to shed some extra pounds.

Well this is just awesome! My college-age daughter and I are doing the very same thing right this minute. I lost 6 stone 40 years ago with the old weight watcher plan. I have rejoined weight watchers and hate the new points plan.

There is no discipline. When I see ''free foods'' I just eat them all day, that's no good to me. I am going to use the old way. This is the WW plan that I prefer and I'm glad they have a variety of plans so we can all pick and choose. If you get a chance, check out the Satan Diet that we've posted here.

It's a healthy way to jump start your weight loss. I started with the Satan Diet and moved nicely into this WW plan with 7 lbs already gone. It felt good and I was able to continue losing weight. I tried the points system twice.. I have been thinking about the original plan for a while now and could remember some of it but not all. Thank you all for posting what you recall. Going to set it in motion! Would you please send me the old WW program, like you I lost weight years ago.

I've tried the new program and do not like it. Really appreciate your help. It is here on this same site. There are actually 2 articles which were written just last month.

Thank you for resurrecting the old WW plan. In , I was a chubby year-old when my dear mother sent me to my first WW meeting. We sat in a hotel conference room and I recall that most of the ladies always had a can of Tab or Fresca.

I am not a fish eater, so eating fish every other meal was daunting. I won't even mention the liver. It was very hard, at that age, but I lost 35 lbs. My mother was very supportive, even though she was an exceptional cook. She often fixed my special meals while cooking the "regular" meals for herself and my sister.

Undone by what I felt was a monotonous diet, I gave up and regained most of the weight over the next two years. I ended up going back and trying the different "improved" versions every other year since. I will soon be 60 years old. I am now facing a do or die health situation and do not need the freedom of these everything-goes plans that are out today.

I have been encouraged to have surgery by a couple of doctors who clearly do not understand the psyche of career dieters. Cut-and-fix solutions only work if the individual understands what and how to eat The old WW is spot on.

Thanks again and pray for me. You are quite welcome! Hopefully this diet plan will help you make positive life choices to move you in the right direction. There are a few other articles on my website that you might want to peruse to get some other ideas regarding how to lose the weight and keep it off. Here are 2 tips that I think are the most helpful: When you make dinner start with fresh ingredients to ensure your body is getting the nutrients it needs to keep you healthy and craving free; 2 Only allow yourself to eat during an hour window each day.

The clock starts with the first item you put in your mouth in the morning. This will help you cut down on the nighttime snacking that destroys so many of us!

On those nights that you absolutely MUST have something to eat after your time limit has expired, limit your choices to vegetables only. Check in every once in awhile and let us know how you're doing So glad I found this site. Been doing WW Points Plus and not losing. Thank you for this great info! I am so happy that I found this site I've been looking for the old Weight Watchers plan for a long time.

I remember losing lots of weight when I followed the plan, and I was very disappointed when they changed to the points. So pleased to have found this site. I'm about to start the original WW plan too. Although successful on very high protein diets, they leave me feeling ill and lethargic. I thought about why I find diets -like Atkins - such hard work, and realise that I miss milk and fruit to the point of distraction.

Also that a few carbs make me feel so much better. Bit of a light-bulb moment! The old 's WW program had all the benefits with enough weight loss to keep me going; I'm so bored of losing half a pound a week etc.

Yes, it's a tough regime, but I hope it's going to work again, as it did when I was a youngster. BTW - is there a forum for fellow "originalists"? Best wishes, J xxx. Hi Weight Watchers, Do you remember the "cheese French toast" recipe. You take 1 slice of bread, toast it, and cut it on half length wise to make 2 full slices of bread. Weigh out 1 oz of hard cheese and put it between the 2 slices of bread like a cheese sandwhich.

In a bowl mix 1 egg, a little water, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and whip it together. Put cheese sandwhich in the egg mixture, coat the sandwhich and cook it like French toast. Drizzzle a little syrup over the top when you put it on your plate. This was delicious and only 1 bread, 2 proteins, and 1 fat. Now I make it with 2 slices of bread, 2 eggs, and 2 oz cheese and it is really good. Lisa, I would love if you could email it to me nmmjg comcast.

Lisa, I don't have your email address. That is why I provided my email address. I am interested in this information. It was the program I used and lost 40 pounds. Could I have a copy please. I have the booklets from the '90s including Superstart. Superstart is basically outlined as Breakfast: Protein was 4 oz. Milk selections are fat free Veggies are unlimited, of course About calories per day average. To cmatthews would you mind sending me the superstart outline.

This seems so easy to follow and the points system is too much for me to deal with. Could you send me the old ww plan. The new WW plan is not working for me. What kind of bread do you buy for the old program? I am looking for the full choice plan listing the sample menus for 7 days. This was from the early 's. I agree with the previous posts the points system is too complicated.

Would be happy to hear back. Hi Lisa, Please let me know how to obtain the entire WW program and manual. Bello Lisa, I al interested in the entire WW program from , including the entire manual. Plz send me an email. I am looking for the menus that were on the plan in the middle to late 80's. I was so successful on that easy plan. I do not like the new one. I haven't been able to stick with it or loose weight.

I would like to have the entire booklets that told you each day, each meal and what you can substitute. Girl name Lisa that replied said she had all the manuals I love weight watchers, the old plan is the best for me and easy to follow. Thanks for you help I have only been able to find bits and pieces of this program.

I am in desperate need to lose weight as I did back in I have a weeding coming up in 6 months and I'm using this event as the push I need to do it again. You can send it to cvf yahoo. Hi Kristen Could you send me the old weight watchers plan via email. I lost my book and I loved this plan and wanted to start it again. Can you please connect me with a copy of the old 's food tracker and the 's diet plan?

I remember losing a ton of weight then and now I have a ton and a half to re lose. I am a lifetime member because of that diet and I really wan to be again. I have also been looking for years for the super start plan from My basement flooded 20 years ago and i have not been able to find this information anywhere. If anyone else has these older plans that can be emailed I would love them gmmunj yahoo.

I am so relieved that I found this website. I am a life time member of the original Weight Watchers from I left ages ago. Once it was changed to the Points system it was impossible for me to follow being that I hate numbers and math. They made it so horribly confusing to even want to lose weight. I had a breast reduction for health reasons 5 years ago. And practically starved myself for the surgery. Needless to say it was very, excruciatingly very hard to maintain that dieting mode.

I tried to go back to Weight Watchers some years ago. I hated the Points system. My mind set was strictly on the old WW program from , They kept saying forget the old program. Being that it was very structured and I needed to be guided with measuring and portion control. To the point of obsessiveness. I lost a couple pounds the first week on the new program, the following week gained one half a pound. Well that was enough for me.

I left Weight Watchers and I swore to myself that I would never go back. Although I became a lifetime member and was awarded my "key to the future". I came back to a Weight Watchers where you could not see in private surrounded by a cubicle your own weight loss on the scale.

They had to tell you behind the counter what you weighed. And I am so very sorry that I threw out all my old Weight Watchers books. Everything you had to pay for when you use to just get it for free. The dining out booklet and all the other books that helped keep you going and coming back to the meetings. I would really love the old Weight Watchers menu plans. Is there a way to still get them. Thank you for all your help. It is so good to know that I am not the only one who misses the old Weight Watchers food plan and tracker sheets.

It is so good to feel not so all alone that there are others that still want the old food menu plan. I am very interested in the old Weight Watchers diet menu planner. The old Weight Watchers diet worked for me. I cannot for the life of me understand the points system that they changed it to. It is so good to know that there are so many who couldn't stand the points program.

Please email me any information in regards to the old exchange plan on Weight Watchers. My email address is. Michelle The portion controlled old diet plan works. I wasn't sure if my comment was posted. I just saw that it was. How can you get the old books to Weight Watchers old exchange menu plan. I am looking for the 1st plan with the size of each serving. I just can't adjust to the points. I lost on that plan. Thank you for any help. It was a 5 week plan and it was a booklet of sorts with meal suggestions and food tracker.

Anyone who can e mail me a printable version of the old diet menu plans or lists of foods and quantities, would be so appreciated. Moving forward, if you would like one and haven't received it yet simply fill out the form at the bottom of the post and it will be sent to you automatically! I too had great success on the WW plan from the 90s and became a lifetime member.

The points system is so irritating. By constantly having to keep track of points all day, I have too think about food all day and constantly plan around that; therefore, I am constantly hungry. It is a vicious circle. If anyone has the serving breakdowns per meal and the food lists from the 90s pre-points please send them or direct me to where I can find them online.

The help will be greatly appreciated! Just wanted to ask if I have gone about this the right way. By filling out this form should I receive a copy of the old WW program? I would be truly grateful! I sent one to you the other day. Let me know if you don't find it in your email and I'll try again. Have a happy day! Had some things going on with my world and it's been a while since checking email and this page.

If you don't mind would you send it again. I had so much mail I had to just clean up my email. Thank you so much!!! I would like a copy also. Its the only plan that has ever worked.

Thank you for sharing the Original Weight Watchers Diet. My sister started the 21 Day Diet Fix and I told her that it was basically a copy this one and a lot more expensive to start! Now, I have proof. It costs a lot less - and we're actually sharing ones that WW seems to have abandoned for their newer points programs. Let us know what you and your sis find as differences, please.

I hope your day is good! Please send it to diasign att. I would love a pdf version of the old plan I lost 60 pounds on the old plan at age 16 and need to lose it again.

It was the only system that worked. I'm not sure anyone here has a copy of the points plan, Christine. Here is what I can tell you about it http: I would like a copy of the quick start plus booklets that was listed on here. I have been looking everywhere for this - my email is dacushardware tds.

Has anyone received a copy of the weight watchers information - I have asked for but haven't received or know where to go look please email at dacushardware tds. I need a copy photocopy Just the listing of foods, amts and the points for each-- the last few pages included some of the WW prepackaged foods as well.

When can I expect this? My first WW meeting was over 40 years ago The Leader was Mimi Ackerman.. I have never forgotten her name.. The food plan and all instructions was printed on a pink card about 3x8 inches maybe 3 x 10 inches It was the best and my weight stayed off for quite a while Now I would like to drop about 40 lps So excited when I found the old food plan that Jean N. If there is anything you can tell me to help I would so appreciate it Had a food listing years ago, but can no longer access would really appreciate it, thank you.

Hi Kristina, I would so appreciate a copy of the original plan and daily menus. My email is merryldk gmail. I sent one before and I got a reply but I don't know what else I am suppose to do. Please show me how I can get the old ww diet.. Hi guys, could o please have a copy of the quick start diet please. Followed this in the early 90's it was brilliant.

Hi all, I have been looking everywhere for this and cannot find it. It is the only one that ever worked for me. I remember weighing out my cereal, proteins etc Would love if one of you would email me on all the literature for this diet. I too am happy I found this site.. I would appreciate a copy of the s wow diet. It is a healthy diet and I lost 40 Lbs 40 yrs ago. The only low fat food substance was diet parlay. As I recall you were suppose to eat 3 veggies and two fruits a day. Fish and chicken and eggs.

More to it than I remember. I was thinking about this last night. You could use Seven Seas Italian dressing or wish bone Italian. If you used butter or margarine it came out of your fats. I ate tuna fish plain or mixed with cottage cheese. Kraft made cheese sticks which were a snack. I drank V 8 juice every day. I had chicken or fish for dinner and a salad and an egg and a piece of toast for breakfast.

A total of 24 lbs in 3 weeks. Going to give it a shot again starting Monday. In Australia it was in a red paper cover and had about six weeks of diets in it. I lost about 20 kg using it and have not had a better diet to follow, any help would be greatly appreciated. Could I please also get a copy of the s or s WW plan? My email address is shannonrcaldwell hotmail.

Lisa and Kristina, could you send me the WW info you have from the 90's?? I would appreciate it very very much!

I would like the copy of the original WW food, list. I lost 60 pounds on that diet in the early 70's and my weight is creeping back up so time to follow it again! Could I please get a copy of the Weight Watchers - very simple plan that was around in the and was a six week plan.

I am desperate to lose weight and found that this was the best diet I have ever tried. I would appreciate any help I can get. Need to lose about 20kg again. I forgot to put my email in the above.

I am also looking for the WW plan from the 70's. My mom lost 30 pounds on it and has kept it off her whole life. I am at a bad place right now and need to try something I feel will work. I need a menu plan of suggested foods for all meals. I would really like if somone would email me the version of the original Weight Watchers plan before all this Points Plus abd now Smart Points stuff!

I quit going and want to get back to basics and what actually works!!
